Access policies and procedures that enhance diversity across campus.

– Supports the University’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by encouraging the UW community to consider small, local and diverse businesses when sourcing and purchasing goods and services.

– Guides diversity planning for academic and administrative units across the university and helps them develop goals and strategic priorities.

– Serves as the primary advisory committee to the UW President on matters of diversity and equity at all three UW campuses.

Diversity statistics & policies – Serves as a resource hub and archive for documents pertaining to UW diversity statistics and policies.

– Supports the university’s compliance with the law and spirit of equal opportunity and affirmative action as it relates to race, color, creed, religion, national origin, citizenship, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, or status as a disabled veteran or Vietnam-era veteran or other protected veterans.

 – Provides resources to help search committees to recruit diverse faculty members.

– Serves as a resource for hiring managers to consult as they seek to increase their outreach efforts and build an inclusive applicant poll for staff positions.
